The polyphonic labyrinths of A Intrusa

Abstract
The aim of this article is to present an analysis conducted on A Intrusa, a short story by Jorge Luís Borges, a discursive genre belonging to the literary sphere. To discuss the construction of the polyphony existing in this story, we sought theoretical support from Bakhtin’s thought. We are interested in examining, in this study, how the author intertwines linguistic resources, stitching them together to construct a text that manifests a multiplicity of voices producing various meanings provoked by the presence of equipollent voices at the moment of enunciation.
