Dear members,

On behalf of everyone at Ponteditora, we wish you to be in good health and in full exercise of your professional duties.

As the community is aware of, in 2015, we started in Brazil, with e3 – magazine of economics, companies and entrepreneurs in the CPLP, the project that in 2018, already in Funchal, extended to other areas of knowledge with the foundation of new journals , such as Herança, a journal of history, heritage and culture, Naus, a Portuguese-speaking journal of cultural and communicational studies, J2 – legal journal, JIM – Journal of Medical Research and, also, RTIC – Journal of Technologies, Information and Communication , in addition to the CPLP daily news and opinion newspaper, Pátria - a Portuguese-speaking scientific community newspaper.

With the mission of producing and disseminating technical and scientific research in Portuguese and the vision of contributing to the formation of a Portuguese-speaking homeland based on science.

The challenge was great, but gradually the objectives have been achieved, thanks to the collaboration of the various editors, members of the scientific board, reviewers and authors. Publications have become a reference, texts being widely consulted and referred to in our academic community. Our deepest gratitude, congratulations.

Following up on the challenge, we continued to work to break down barriers in our own community and build bridges with other scientific communities internationally.

In this sense, and within the scope of the internationalization project INTERNACIONALIZAR 2020 II (Ordinance no. 29/2018) Project no. the possibility of publishing in our journals.

At the same time, from February 15, 2022, we announced the merger of the e3 and RTIC Journals, in order to create a “super publication”, with which it is expected to achieve more and better indexing databases, as well as the passage in the near future. on a quarterly basis.
Thus, the merger will result in clear benefits for all stakeholders, seeking to protect the interests of authors, reviewers and editors. The newly formed team will work together to continue to guarantee the level of excellence recognized by the entire scientific community.

These changes will begin to be visible in the coming days, for which we ask for your best understanding.
