Abstract

Currently, there are mobile applications focused on the tourism sector in the city of Bogota, Colombia. However, not all of them are oriented towards personalized recommendations of places or points of interest. In this paper, we present a characterization of the user profile of the tourist in Bogota that will serve as the basis for a system of recommendation of routes and points of interest. As a proof of concept, we present the development of a prototype of a mobile application called Tour Bogota that displays information obtained from the District Institute of Tourism (IDT) about routes and points of interest, through the scanning of QR codes, and stored in the cloud application Firebase. Finally, we present the results obtained from the application when subjected to usability tests SUS type to a total of 9 users, where a good potential of the project was evidenced as well as possible parameters for future improvement.
